And on the wrong day! What is going on with that main blogger over at Nebraska? Well, two weeks ago, she was at/in a wedding 600 miles away. Last week she was catching up. Slowly. This week, things are back to semi-normal and I think I’ll switch link day to Friday. For the summer, at least. Summer holds lazy months, and Fridays are lazy days, and I don’t think I need any further explanation.
Now, after a long(ish) hiatus, here are your links (no particular order, no reason, no design!) for this week:
Fellow Press: University of Hawai’i Press now has a weblog. I added them to our sidebar, but felt an announcement will draw your attention to their blogosphere presence.
Shameless plug: There’s a review on Super70s.com baseball page reviewed Branch Rickey: Baseball’s Ferocious Gentleman and, at the end of the page, you can watch a short clip on Rickey from Ken Burn’s film Baseball.
About books: The Page 69 Test blog has authors discussing their books using (as you probably guessed) page 69 of their work as a sort of guide.
More on books: Like to read? Want to accept a challenge or try someone else’s challenge? Visit Summer Reading Challenge!
About books: He can’t give them away. Really.
Not about books, really: It’s summer. And what are summers for? Laziness, sun, barbeque.
Enjoy your weekend. Hope it’s warm and easy.
