Lee Lowenfish, author of the biography Branch Rickey: Baseball’s Ferocious Gentleman, was supposed to throw the first ball at Dutchess Stadium yesterday, July 19, 2007, but the game was rained out.  Lee will throw the first ball sometime in August for the New York Penn League.  Check back here for updates.
