Today at the University of Nebraska Lincoln Libraries are celebrating their three millionth book today. This is how three million looks with zeros: 3,000,000. That’s a lot of books. The celebration will include announcing what that three millionth book is (we do know it’ll be a rare book, we just don’t which one).

Good for you, U of N. One of my best friends is a Nebraska grad. He bleeds red. But he is one of the nicest guys. He told me that during Nebraska football games you won’t see any more repect given to an opposing team than there. He said it goes way back and something Cornhusker nation does differently. Heck, I’ve seen more roudy parents at a little league baseball game it sounds.
