Today on the Story Prize blog, Greg Hrbek discusses his inspiration for his short story collection, Destroy All Monsters, which is a nominee for this year's prize.

Hrbek explained how he “never thought he would write ‘fantastic stuff.’ I read The Canon in college and pretty much nothing else. The book that changed how I wanted to write was a novel by Scott Bradfield called The History of Luminous Motion.”
