Congratulations to Dan Aadland for winning the 1st place prize for book/E-book in the 2012 Excellence in Craft contest sponsored by the Outdoor Writers Association of America!

His book, In Trace of TR: A Montana Hunter’s Journey, is a quest to hunt Teddy Roosevelt's favorite places offering an introspective commentary on the ecology of the Northern Plains, the psyche of the West, Roosevelt's historical significance, and the culture and perceptions of hunting.
