The University of Nebraska Press is proud to participate in Project MUSE’s new Subscribe to Open (S2O) initiative.

Just launched in 2025, Subscribe to Open (S2O) is an equitable open access model for scholarly journals that enables subscription journals to open access to their current content without Article Processing Charges (APCs). With Project MUSE having reached its sustainability threshold for the year, current content from more than 100 participating journals has now published open access!

As part of our mission to advance the boundaries of human knowledge and understanding worldwide, twenty journals published by UNP will be open access through this new partnership. These journals offer a variety of research and creative works that represent the latest insights in Sports History, American Indian Studies, Narrative Studies, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and more.
