As mentioned on an earlier post, many UNP authors will be in attendance at the (downtown) Omaha Lit Fest.  The festival will be held this weekend—September 14 and September 15—at the W. Johnsgard Featured in New NET Series

Nebraska writer and biologist Paul A. Johnsgard was featured on the new radio program Great Plains Great Books.  The show presents essays regarding the wonders of the culture and land of the Great Plains inspired by books of the region.  The show airs in Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas and Oklahoma.  For those of us who don’t live in these states, you can visit the Great Plains Great Books homepage to hear audio streams from earlier shows.  Johnsgard’s stream is second from the top today, September 10, 2007. Loren Eiseley Centennial
