Tomorrow, Saturday, June 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY presents the 15th annual Roosevelt Reading Festival.
In concurrent sessions throughout the day, fifteen authors of recently published works that draw upon the Roosevelt Library archives will present author talks followed by book signings. This year, the University of Nebraska Press and Potomac Books will each have an author presenting.
Curt Smith will present his new book, Presidents and the Pastime: The History of Baseball and the White House (Nebraska, 2018) at 1:00 p.m.
Philip Padgett will present his new book, Advocating Overlord: The D-Day Strategy and the Atomic Bomb (Potomac Books, 2018) at 3:00 p.m.
