The American Historical Association is a nonprofit membership organization founded in 1884 and incorporated by Congress in 1889 for the promotion of historical studies. This weekend the AHA will host its 133rd annual meeting in Chicago. The University of Nebraska Press will be in attendance with a variety of books on display for sale at booth 211.

Last month the AHA published an article titled “Midwestern History Is on the Map” which featured UNP author and editor Jon K. Lauck and the book Finding a New Midwestern History (Nebraska, 2018).
