The Marketeers Club: Nail Polish or Scholarly Monograph

Rosemary Vestal is the publicity manager for UNP. Her nails are currently painted in Nomad’s Dream.

I realize with that title I’ve already cut my audience in half but I digress…

Some of us are aware that nail polish colors are not simply colors anymore but statements, stories, or silly puns. Some examples:

For Bitten
Red for My Fortune
Siberian Nights
Love of Strangers
Snow Globetrotter
America Dancing

All lovely colors; I’ve tried all of those… almost. Two of them are actually book titles. Can you spot them? If you are from Princeton University Press or Yale University Press you certainly can. The Love of Strangers (Princeton University Press, 2015) was reviewed in the New York Times and well, so was America Dancing (Yale University Press, 2015).

Since we pride ourselves in knowing our own books as well as others in the respective comparative fields, why not put that knowledge to a little polish test?

Good luck.
