The 2018 Nebraska Book Festival is one month away! This year’s festival will be on Saturday, August 25 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s City Campus Union. The day-long festival will feature hands-on activities for children (and adults), writing panels, and presentations from recently published authors. The vendor hall opens at 9:00 a.m. and will include forty publishers, literary groups, and authors.
On Friday, August 24, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. the Center for Great Plains will host a kick-off evening event launching two new titles in the “Discover the Great Plains” series. The authors, Linda Ray Pratt and Peter J. Longo, will give short talks and sign books during this event. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
