One month from today, the University of Nebraska will officially celebrate its 150th anniversary. Throughout 2019, there will be many events beginning with Chancellor Ronnie Green’s State of the University address at the Lied Center in Lincoln 3:30 p.m. today.

UNP is adding to the celebration by publishing Dear Old Nebraska U (February 2019). The book celebrates the University of Nebraska’s first 150 years with a look at the colleges, research, athletics, students, places, and people and their impact on the university and the world. The foreword to this commemorative book is written by Ted Kooser.
