The 1455 Literary Arts has announced that Tim Wendel, author of Escape from Castro’s Cuba and Castro’s Curveball, will speak at the 1455 Summer Festival, the organization’s free and accessible virtual event, as part of a session entitled “Tim and Ethelbert Play Catch” on Saturday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
Tim will discuss the state of baseball with poet and literary activist E. Ethelbert Miller. Tim and Ethelbert have long chronicled the national pastime in their books, essays, columns and poetry.
