Are you planning to pitch a book to an agent or editor? In this interactive how-to workshop, Wynne Brown will provide a step-by-step guide to developing a successful book proposal with tips, examples and extra resources.

Wynne Browne and Jan Cleere will remind us about the often-overlooked role of women in 19th-century Arizona.

March 13 at 12:30 p.m. Forgotten Botanist
An inspiring biography of the courageous botanist for whom Mt. Lemmon in the Santa Catalina range is named. Along with her botanist husband John Gill Lemmon, she discovered hundreds of new plant species, many of them illustrated by Sara, an accomplished artist.

March 13 at 2:30 p.m. Bandit and the Botanist
Mt. Lemmon namesake Sara Plummer Lemmon and notorious outlaw Pearl Hart left their respective marks on the West in a way few other women have. Authors John Boessnecker and Wynne Brown discuss their extraordinary lives.
