Francie & Finch Bookshop (Lincoln, NE) welcomes poets Marjorie Saiser and Tyler Jacobs in presenting their newest books, The Track the Whales Make and Building Brownville, with a poetry reading and author signing at 3:30 p.m.
The Bookworm (Omaha, NE) will be joined by Eileen Wirth, who will read from, discuss, and sign her latest book, The Women Who Built Omaha at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bookworm requests that attendees wear masks for in-person events.


Marjorie Saiser is the author of seven previous books of poetry and coeditor of two anthologies. Her most recent books are The Tracks the Whales Make (Nebraska, 2021), Learning to Swim, The Woman in the Moon (Backwaters, 2018), and I Have Nothing to Say about Fire (Backwaters, 2016).
Eileen Wirth is a professor emeritus of journalism at Creighton University and a senior writer for Legacy Preservation in Omaha. She is the author or coauthor of several books, including The Women Who Built Omaha (Bison Books, 2022), From Society Page to Front Page: Nebraska Women in Journalism (Nebraska, 2013), Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, and A History Lover’s Guide to Omaha.
