The Women’s National Book Association (WNBA) has announced its 2022 Great Group Reads list. The books on this year’s list are set in at least eight different countries, dozens of states and various time periods addressing personal and global issues. The 2022 list features 20 books that were chosen by a reading committee of 46 readers. The 2022 Great Group Reads list provides an outstanding selection of well-written works that will broaden understanding, foster empathy, and engender thoughtful consideration.

Among the selections this year is Oklahoma Odyssey by John Mort (Bison Books, 2022)!

In the novel, a murder impels the victim’s son, a naive Mennonite farm boy, his sister, and an Osage farmhand to stake their fortunes on the last land run into Oklahoma Territory. While their aims are nonviolent, the murderer has other ideas.
